Club history
The club was founded in 1959 at Ranui as Western United, and many of the club's early players cam from the Royal New Zealand Air Force base at Whenuapai. The club has changed its name twice, first to Waitemata City, and then to its current name. They're currently top of the table in division 1 and through to the last 16 of the Chatham Cup.
